Publish a game
Your game stays yours. Publishing gives it a permanent link anyone can play on, straight away and without an account. That is the part that is yours. The marketplace is a separate thing you can ask to be on, and your link works the same either way.
From the app
The app uploads the build and opens the listing for you, and keeps the engine version and file checksums correct without you thinking about it.
- Open Export in the appTop bar, next to the project name. Your game becomes one HTML file that plays in a browser.
- Choose PublishThe app asks you to sign in the first time, then remembers.
- You get a linkImmediately, and it never changes. Publish the same game again next month and it is still the same address, so anywhere you have posted it keeps working.
- Fill in the listingTitle, cover art, one line, and your tags. All of it is editable later without re-uploading the build.
- Ask to be featured, if you want toYour link never waits on us. Once it is live you can ask to be on the marketplace, and while somebody is reading your game it is already out and playable. We do not take everything, and being passed over changes nothing about your link.

What can be published
Anything made with the engine, finished or not. Demos and works in progress are welcome, just say so. Games must be yours to publish, and anything distressing needs accurate content warnings, which readers see before they press play.
Selling your game
Everything here is free to play, and we take no cut of anything, ever. Sell the same game on itch.io if you want to. Add the link and your page here will point people to it.
Taking it down
You can, at any time, from the listing editor. We only remove things that break the rules above, and we tell you why. We will never remove a game for being unpopular.
Your files
Your game is served as it is, so people can play it in the browser. Remove the game and the files go with it. You always keep your own copy, because publishing here is never the only one.
