Your work is yours

You keep every right to what you make. We claim no ownership and take no cut if you sell your game elsewhere.

You give us permission to store a published game and serve it to anyone who opens its link, and to show its title and cover if we list it on the marketplace. That permission ends when you delete the game or your account.

What you can publish

Anything you made, finished or not. It must be yours to publish. You may not publish:

• Work you do not hold the rights to.
• Sexual content involving minors, real or drawn. No nuance, no appeal.
• Content that harasses a real person, or promotes violence or hatred against people for who they are.
• Malware, or anything built to deceive whoever opens it.

Adult content is allowed if it is marked as such, which keeps it off the marketplace.

Taking things down

We remove games that break those rules, and we tell you why. We will not remove one for being unfinished, unpopular, strange, or critical of us. We may close an account that breaks the rules repeatedly or attacks the service.

Your account

You are responsible for what is published from it, so do not share your sign-in. You can delete it at any time from Settings in the app or at paperbox.games/account/delete, which permanently removes your studio, your games and their links.

What we do not promise

Paperbox is free and provided as it is. We do not guarantee it is uninterrupted, that a link is reachable at any given moment, or that the software is free of defects. Keep your own copies; the app stores projects on your device so that you always can.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost income or other damages arising from using Paperbox.

Changes

These may change as the product does, and the date above changes with them. Changes are not retroactive: we will not claim a share of a game you published under earlier terms.
